Runaway Jury

Based on the novel by John Grisham.

2003 Directed by Gary Fleder and starring John Cusack (High Fidelity, Stand by Me), Gene Hackman (behind the line Enemy and The Firm ), Dustin Hoffman (Rain Man and now Fockers), Rachel Weisz (The Mummy and The Gardener faithful, Agora), Bruce Davison (Longtime Companion and Short Cuts), Bruce McGill (The Legend Of Bagger Vance Collateral and Nuclear Panic).

New Orleans a widow Mr Wood that decides to denounce a great armery company, Dickbur, for the death of his husband. The film talks about the judgment of the Case Wood vs Dickbur armery. In the side of the accusation is Mr Wendall Rohr (Dustin Hoffman), from southern and honest and humble man and the other side is Mr. Rankin Fitch (Gene Hackman),  with great experience in handling juries…

There is a difference between the novel and the movie, is that in the novel the plot goes from death from snuff, unlike the movie that uses an arms company.
